AI Decision-Making Tool

Features

The CHOICE AI decision-making tool will bring together several components:

  • Virtual patients: computer-based simulations of BRCA-related clinical scenarios.
  • Decision trees: structured pathways through prevention and treatment options, built into serious games.
  • Multilingual support in English, Czech, Portuguese, and Greek.
  • AI-driven sentiment analysis that picks up on the user’s emotional state in real time.
  • Personalisation: users provide some personal information and receive guidance matched to their situation.
  • Content linked to the health literacy dictionary (2,000+ terms).
  • Works on mobile as well as desktop.

The tool is currently in development and will be available on this website by late 2027.

User journey

A step-by-step guide to using the tool will be published here once user testing is complete.

We are currently designing and testing the user experience with women and healthcare providers across Portugal, Czechia and Greece. The final user journey will be published by late 2027.
