CHOICE is building an open API that plugs the health literacy algorithm into existing digital health platforms. It lets external platforms process user interactions and get insights back in real time.

What it does:

• It can handle both structured data (surveys, clinical records) and unstructured data (social media posts, patient forum discussions) to identify topics, sentiments, and patterns.
• It helps healthcare providers adjust how they communicate based on what patients are actually asking about and how they’re feeling.
• It’s built to scale and to integrate easily with different platform architectures.
• At least one pilot integration is planned, with the Portuguese Directorate-General of Health (DGS) already committed to testing it on their digital platform.
